Dr. Markva received her undergraduate degree and graduate degree in Audiology from James Madison University. She received her doctoral degree in Audiology from University of Florida - Gainesville. Professional memberships include American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Doctors of Audiology, Hearing Loss Association of America, American Tinnitus Assocation, Fauquier Chamber of Commerce and the Warrenton Rotary Club. Dr. Markva has been providing services to Virginians since 1989 and opened Fauquier Hearing Services in 1999.
Janelle has been with Fauquier Hearing Service since 2007. You will see her at the front desk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. She enjoys working with people of all ages. Janelle is available to help our patients before, during, and after their appointments. She is in direct contact with our audiologist, Dr. Diane Markva, to communicate any and all of our patient needs. Janelle enjoys spending her time with her family and friends. She has a positive outlook on life and aims to please all of our new and existing patients.
Sarah Overhulser has been with Fauquier Hearing Service since May 2008. She is available every Tuesday to answer any of your billing questions. She enjoys working with numbers and has been working as a bookkeeper/accountant for over twenty years. Sarah works with Fauquier Hearing Service one day per week and operates her own home-based bookkeeping business the remainder of the week, Broad Run Accounting Service. Theresa Bell is a native of Virginia and has been practicing audiology since 1989. She attended Radford University in Radford, Virginia where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in both Psychology and Communication Disorders and her Master's degree in Audiology. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings throughout the DC/MD/VA region. Ms. Bell has also worked in the educational setting as a sign language interpreter and can converse in American Sign Language.
Ms. Bell is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with which she holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as both an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Specialist.
